Welcome to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
"Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." Romans 15:7
"I would like to take this opportunity to extend a very warm greeting and welcome all that visit our Holy Trinity Parish Family. Our Church offers the fullness of the Orthodox Faith with all the pearls of its rich tradition. I personally invite you to become an active and integral part of our Parish. If there is any way that I can assist you concerning your spiritual needs or if you would like to learn more about Orthodoxy, please feel free to contact me. Once again, I welcome you and look forward to serving you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
--Father Paul Christy
Humble Beginnings
Like many Greek Orthodox communities in America, we trace our beginnings to a handful of immigrants longing for a place to continue their traditional worship. Our first services were held in a loft on South Salisbury Street in April of 1924, with membership consisting of approximately ten families. Through the decades, God has blessed our community with tremendous growth.
A Focus on Youth
Recognizing the importance of our children to the future of our church, we place a special emphasis on the development of our youth.
Sunday School
Following Holy Communion, the students attend Sunday School during a portion of Sunday’s Divine Liturgy. Through the dedicated and loving efforts of our teaching staff, our youth are provided a rich educational program that utilizes the latest in instructional materials available through our Archdiocese's Religious Education Department. Our Sunday School enrollment has grown from 50 to 150 over the last 5 years! For more information, ask a staff member for a Sunday School Handbook. Learn More »
