GOYA is: The association of Greek Orthodox Youth of America. Our members are teenagers grades 7-12. Its mission is to lead our young people into experiencing the Holy Orthodox Faith by developing a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to build a community with fellow Orthodox Christians. In becoming active sacramental members of the living Church, our young people will be equipped with the tools necessary to assist them in their journey toward salvation. It is a place where young people come to learn and grow as Orthodox Christians in today's society, as well as a place where our youth can socialize and embrace Greek culture. Relationships formed through GOYA are often life long. A GOYAN is: A 7th-12th grade student who is a participant in the GOYA ministry of a Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta parish and is active in the full life of the church. Minimum age of 12 years old.
